Are you tiered of searching the Internet and try to find images that are legal to use on your blog? Often it is easier to just not use images. A few days ago I found a solution, a huge library of images that are free to use (If used properly). You can even download a plug in that you can use, if you have a Wordpress blog. Then you have all the images that you need at you fingertips, when you are writing your post.

Since yesterday I have used a browser called Flock. At first I thought it was a bit messy with all the features, but now I think it is really good. It is based on Firefox, and therefore has the same security. In addition to this there are features for blogging and being active in various social media sites. It goes really well to manage my Wordpress blog with Flock. I am writing this post there right now.

In yesterday I installed new software on my computer. The Software is called TweetDeck and is a desktop client for Twitter, MySpace and Facebook. This is a lot better way to take control over the flow of status updates and news, then to be dependent to log in to each webpage to see what is happening.

I wanted to integrate Twitter with my Wordpress blog. I used Google to search for different twitter plug-ins and it seems like Twitter Tools has the features that I wanted.  I think time will tell…

I like to keep track of my training activities. To my help I have an application to my iPhone called RunKeeper. The application uses the built in GPS in my iPhone to track my runs, walks and other outdoor activities. Now in they added a new function to RunKeeper, the ability to manually add activities. Perfect if I use my treadmill and want to keep track of that too.

1. This is my own blog. I feel ownership!
2. Flexibility. I can use themes and plug-ins to get the blog that I want.
3. I am not dependent to my computer. I can manage my blog from my iPhone and the Wordpress application.
4. I build my own brand with my own domain. Not someone else’s brand with someone else’s domain.
5. I can choose my own ads and get paid. My initial cost to have a self-hosted blog becomes an investment.
